FOSS4G stands for Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial, a conference series hosted
in partnership with OSGeo. FOSS4G brings open source geospatial users, software
developers, decision makers and researchers together from around the world
Call For Papers
We want you to share your fascinating stories about open source geospatial, open data, and
open street map. We're looking for a diverse range of presenters including women, people
from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, young and old, urban and rural. To achieve this goal,
we need you to accept the challenge and put yourself forward, the community can't wait to
hear what you have to say!
Now is the time to submit your interest in one or more of the following categories:
- Presentations
- Lightning Talks
- Workshops
- Academic Papers
Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland
These are the Māori names given to Auckland. They speak of our diverse landscapes,
beautiful harbours, and fertile soils. They speak of the coming together of different iwi
(tribes) to meet and trade.

FOSS4G 2025 is proudly supported by Auckland University of Technology's School of Future
Environments.
